Blocked toilets, sinks, sewers and shower drains are all signs of blocked drains. We locate the exact source of the blockage or leaking pipes using CCTV equipment, so we know what we're dealing with and where it is before any work starts.

That matters, because "blocked" covers everything from a build-up of fat and wet wipes to tree roots through a cracked pipe to a section that's collapsed. Clearing a blockage without knowing which one you have means you'll be calling someone back.

Once we've found it, we remove the blockage using high pressure hydro jets, which scour the pipe rather than just punching a hole through the obstruction. Where the pipe itself is the problem, we repair or replace the affected section.

A drain that blocks repeatedly usually has something structural behind it. Tree roots find their way into any crack or loose joint and keep regrowing. Ground movement across Christchurch has left plenty of drains misaligned, sagging or cracked, and a pipe that no longer falls consistently will keep catching debris no matter how often it's cleared.
