Harvested rainwater is typically used for non-potable purposes — garden and irrigation, washing down, toilets and laundry — which takes a meaningful load off mains supply.

A proper system is more than a tank under a downpipe. We connect into your existing spouting and downpipes, fit leaf filtration and first flush diversion so the dirtiest water off the roof doesn't end up in storage, and pipe the overflow safely into your stormwater system rather than into your foundations.

This feature is now becoming mandatory on a lot of new building projects. We specialise in working with our suppliers to provide retention and detention solutions to match your specifications, whether that's a detention tank releasing stormwater slowly to meet council requirements, or a retention tank holding it back for reuse on site.

If you're building or altering, this is worth sorting at the design stage — the tank size, position and outfall all affect the drainage layout around it.

Where there's no reticulated supply, your tank is your water supply, and the stakes are higher. We install and connect storage tanks, size them around household use and roof catchment, and handle the plumbing between tank, pump and house.

We also install water filtration and treatment where tank water is being used for drinking, and can look after pump supply, repairs and servicing.

If your property has both a tank and a mains connection, the two have to be kept properly separated. Backflow protection is a compliance requirement, not an optional extra, and getting it wrong risks contaminating the mains supply.
